Pose with body facing 45° stage right, head facing forward. L9 Arms (R hand at R hip), left heel high.

4 counts: “Agari Lath” dum, dum, dum

Quickly lift arms through M2 until the back of hands touch high above head while arching chest forward and pulling head slightly back at an angle. Left Hip Drops Up-DownUp.

4 counts: “In the music” chink-a-chink chink-a-chink

Push against floor with ball of right foot to swivel and step left facing 45° stage left, bringing arms into E2 while pointing right foot behind you. Pelvis neutral, abs in, chest lifted and pushed forward for Shoulder Shimmy.

4 counts: “Ali Arsoy” dum, dum, dum

Swivel to face forward in Neutral Posture, bringing hands under hair in E8. Swing Shimmy Left-RightLeft.

4 counts: “In the music” chink-a-chink chink-a-chink

Push against floor with ball of left foot to step right 45° stage right, and place pointed left foot 45° stage left, left knee straight, right knee bent, chest and pelvis NEUTRAL! Right hand remains in E8, left in E7 for left Twist Hip FrontBack-FrontBack.

4 counts: “Agari Lath” dum, dum, dum

Pull left foot and hip in (keep left hip up!) while turning left palm up, then Left Hip Drops Down-UpDown.

4 counts: “In the music” chink-a-chink chink-a-chink

Step left foot forward, pelvis neutral, Chest Tilt with right shoulder down, arms up to your left in L8. Choo-Choo in place stepping on the balls of both feet RightLeft-RightLeft.

4 counts: “Ali Arsoy” dum, dum, dum

Step right then left to turn CW to face backstage. Arms in C3 for Basic Shimmy with Clenches Left-RightLeft.

Swivel on left foot to face stage left, right heel lifted. Arms in L1 for right Single Hip Rotations (back-up-forward, down).

Right Hip Drops with AndPlace-AndRelease, Party Arms.

3 steps of Bounce Walk in a little half circle to end facing stage right. On 7, place ball of left foot near right heel. On 8, shift to Exaggerated Egyptian Posture with Betty Boop Arms.

Hip Pops on 1, 3, 5, 7. Pull left foot in and shift to Float Arms in Egyptian Posture on 8.

4 counts of 8: tekata tekata tekata tekata TAK dududu dududu TAK

Do 2 left Single Hip Rotations, then Hip Up with clench on 5, then Shoulder Shimmy with optional Body Roll Up, finishing on 8 with a small chin lift. Clap hands together in Genii Arms on the 4th (last) 8.

Head Slides right, left, right for 1, 2, 3.

Still in Genii Arms, left Hip Drops with the TAKs, then push against floor with ball of right foot to shift to the left, leaving right foot on the ball behind you.

Hip Drops layered over a Front-to-Back Single Hip Circle with a ¼ turn on 4. Switch hands to left E6, right A7 on the second count of 8.

2 counts of 8: little rolls then down on 3 and up on 4, then repeat, then above rhythm

Choo-Choos layered with Side Slides starting to the right with Sway Hands (Down). Finish with a little jump, ending with feet shoulder width apart, right fingers pointing to left ribs, left hand out to side with palm up.

1 count of 8: count down on the odd beats and finish up on 8

Big Hip Circle with heel bounce, starting left and moving back, right, forward and left again. Circle left wrist.

Scoop Figure 8s with heel bounce and little kicks to the side, starting stepping right. Low Float Arms.

Right Hip Pulls, Forward-Forward-Back-Back, repeat, slowing down.

¾ Swing Shimmy with Swivel – start stepping right foot to stage right, then left hip forward towards audience. End standing on right foot with the left foot pointed towards stage left and do 3 tight hip ups to the right.

Reverse of above. Finish by pulling right foot in with right hip up, right hand in E8, left in high E7.

Pull right foot in while swiveling a bit to your left and put left hand behind hair – right hip Drop-Pop-Drop-PopPop-Drop-Pop. Step on right foot to swivel left hip forward while bringing right hand to right hip, and snap left fingers at audience 3 times.

Forward-Step-Back-Step with ¾ Shimmy on toes with V Arms, stepping L-R-L-R-L-R on the beat, facing first sightly left, then slightly right. On 7, step back L on a diagonal into Exaggerated Egyptian Posture, left hand to right temple, right hand on hip. Reverse. Repeat.

Face forward and step L – R – L with 3/4 Swing Shimmy

4x dum tatatatatatatatatata TAK TAK

Swing hips sharply right on dum, Shimmy, then Shimmy with Clenches L-R for TAK TAK. Reverse. Repeat.

6x TAK TAK dum tata TAK

For the first 3, Pelvic Toss R – L, then swing right for a double hip, then swing left. Pull right foot in for chest tilts pulling first the right then the left shoulder down with arms in a sharp E7, then right hip Up Down UpDown. Swivel by pushing with ball of left foot to step right for a Chest Pop at a 45° angle right Arms in and open L7, immediately Body Roll Down to accent hips back for second TAK, then Body Roll up for the rest of the measure. Finish this bit with 2 left shoulder lifts, a single left Hip Rotation, and a sharp left hip PopDrop.

dubadadubada dum TAK

Turn to face audience while swinging hips left, hop onto the right foot, and then do a left Swing Hip Point Turn CW to end standing on the left foot facing 45° stage left, left hand in E8, right in E7 behind you.

2x DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, dubadadubada dum TAK

Two Right Hip Drops for the DUMs and then right Single Hip Rotation. Chest Contraction and Pop for the two DUMs and then Body Roll Down. Shoulder Shimmy left back and back for the DUMs, then put your right foot down for a Front-to-Back Horizontal Figure 8 starting right. Finish with a quick small half F-t-B Fig 8 right, shift weight left so you can step forward right, Arabesque left on TAK. Repeat on the other side.

DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, dubadadubada dum TAK

Right Single Hip Figure 8s Front-Back-Front and slow down, Back-Front-Back and slow down, Front-Back-Front and slow down, right Single Hip Rotation finishing with knees bent and pelvis tucked way under to prepare for a Body Roll Up leaning back with right arm extended behind you, left fingers pointing to liver.

DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, DUM DUM tak tak tatak, dubadadubada dum TAK

Step onto right foot circling right hand down by thigh for 1st DUM. On 2nd DUM, place ball of left foot at 45° to front left while circling right arm up with a flamenco hand curl to finish with right hand in L4, left fingers still pointing to your liver. Leave right hand where it is and do an exaggerated Torso Tilt to the left, extending the left arm elbow-wrist-knuckles-fingers and then straighten up – you should be facing 45° right with the weight on the right foot. Put right thumb over right ear for two Pelvic Tilts back on the beat and then Body Roll Up. Swivel to face forward, tips of right fingers touch the side of the left hip while swinging hips right for the 1st DUM. Swing hips back to the right for the 2nd DUM while pushing hands behind you in M7 (palms back). Do three quarters of a Front-to-back Figure 8 starting left – when hips are out to the right start the back half of a Big Egyptian Hip Circle moving right-back-left. For the last dum TAK, bring palms together in M8 and then push hands above head, wrists crossed, palms together.
